I haven't thought that a 3rd person could scare me but this game did it. Lastly, a recent example of a game that scared me much was Alan Wake. But it is a great game and highly recommended by the way! -) SCARY! But if you play it now for the first time, i doubt you'll be scared. Still, a lot of my friends didn't think that the game was scary enough at the time.Ī good example of how a game used to be scary is Realms of the Haunting. And of course age has to do a lot with it.įor example, Alien Trilogy (PSX) had me sitting at the edge of the seat while i was waiting for the motion tracker to kick in when an alien was close. I remember games that i was scared while my friends were not. In any case, even if it's paid, i'll be more than happy to support it if it turns out to be good.Guys, my take is that each person is different as to how much he is scared in video games. Or do they own the original as well with the licence? Those who owned the original can still install it though.īut since the new EE devs don't own the original, it could be that they can't take it down themselves. Cause THQ Nordic took down the original Darksiders and replaced it with the Warmastered edition in the store. You mean SS2 "non enhanced edition" will still be up for sale? That's where we get the "Enhanced Edition" from. They used the initial funds from that to develop Kex for it. It's like how SS1 on Steam was distributed. It's just that it will be using a new engine.
